THE FIRM
Chad is a seasoned lawyer, known for his strong sense of justice, compassion for his clients, and a flair for advocacy. Born and raised in Calgary and proud of his Alberta upbringing, Chad brings accomplishment, cunning, and skill to all areas of legal practice with a record of scoring impressive court victories in many cardinal, nationally recognized legal cases involving freedom of expression, freedom of the press, and the constitutional rights of Canadians.
He gained an Applied Bachelor of Communications from Mount Royal University in Calgary and a Bachelor of Law with Honours from Cardiff University in the United Kingdom. He founded Williamson Law in 2017 and is committed to delivering a modern, sensible, and energetic approach to the practice of law through staunch representation of firm clients.

Chad's areas of interest include emerging technologies, music and audio production, animal welfare, and spending time at the lake with his family.

Raised on a serene acreage near Cochrane, Becca's roots instilled a fierce work ethic and an unyielding drive to impact lives positively. With honors from Mount Royal University in Sociology and Religious Studies, she gained a profound understanding of human dynamics and empathy.
Transforming her passion into action, Becca secured her Juris Doctor from the University of Calgary in 2023. Her journey in law school sparked a deep interest in personal injury law, leading her to excel at Law Fifty One as both a student and articling lawyer. Under Chad Williamson's mentorship, she honed her skills across diverse legal areas, reinforcing her versatility and dedication.
Becca approaches her practice with a heart-centered, solution-driven mindset, ensuring her clients feel heard, supported, and empowered. Her commitment to justice shines through in every case, adapting seamlessly to meet complex legal challenges.
Off the clock, Becca cherishes moments with her young son, close family, friends, and her Bernese Mountain Dog, embodying her values of empathy, resilience, and meaningful impact in all aspects of life.
KEN C. JOHNSTON
COUNSEL TO THE FIRM
Ken acts as Counsel and Senior Advisor to the firm. Ken is the owner of Your Lawyer LLP. He has over 40 years of experience in all general areas of the law, with a focus on complex litigation, real estate, and wills and estates.

Ken provides valuable, senior advice to the firm and works hand-in-hand with Williamson Law on complex litigation matters and the growth of the firm. He is passionate about the law and mentoring the younger members of the firm. It is contemplated that Williamson Law and Your Lawyer LLP will merge operations in the near future.

Ken has played an active executive role in many community organizations, including past president of the Point McKay Condominium Corporation, past president of the Lindsay Park Sports Association, past Technical Director of the Canadian Volleyball Association, and current director of The Educational Partnership Foundation.

JOSH HOBBS

Josh is a studious and methodical barrister specializing in legal research, analysis, and written advocacy, in the context of disputes and litigation. He is experienced in drafting briefs and other written or oral submissions for court proceedings and other quasi-judicial processes, as well as in providing comprehensive legal analysis through memoranda, opinions, and case assessments.
Known for his thorough and creative approach, Josh excels at distilling complex issues into concise and persuasive arguments. He particularly enjoys assisting individuals facing unprecedented legal issues requiring careful research and persuasive application of analogous law.
Josh obtained a Bachelor of Science with Honours and a law degree and from the University of Calgary. Although no longer a university student, he has maintained a strong academic interest in the law — an interest he consistently leverages for both clients and fellow lawyers.
When not working, Josh enjoys making new memories with his wife and finding new places to satisfy their unfettered sushi cravings.
